Andy is a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner at YesAbility and joined the organisation in 2025, bringing prior experience from another Perth-based PBS provider. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Curtin University (2023), with studies including evidence-informed health practice and psychological research methods. Andy brings 2.5 years’ experience in PBS, alongside a further four years supporting people with additional needs as a special needs assistant.
Working within the NDIS framework, Andy completes Functional Behaviour Assessments and develops comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans and practical response strategies. He values collaborative practice and works closely with participants, families, support workers, and other stakeholders to build individualised supports that strengthen skills, reduce the need for restrictive practices, and support meaningful behaviour goals.
With a Singaporean background, Andy is bilingual and can support participants in both English and Mandarin Chinese. He is known for clear, respectful communication and a calm, structured approach—while also bringing a friendly, approachable style that helps people feel comfortable and supported.
