Sheriann

Sheriann is an Occupational Therapist at YesAbility, based in Albany. She brings over seven years’ experience delivering person-centred, trauma-informed occupational therapy across the NDIS, aged care, and justice-involved settings, with a strong focus on psychosocial and forensic disability in regional Western Australia.

Sheriann has completed more than 100 Functional Capacity Assessments, including reports used to support NDIS access and plan review processes. Her work includes comprehensive functional assessment, goal-focused intervention planning, assistive technology recommendations, and home and environmental assessments to improve safety, participation, and independence. She draws on evidence-based frameworks such as the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), and uses tools including WHODAS, DASS, and LSP-16 to support clear clinical reasoning and measurable outcomes.

Sheriann is known for high-quality report writing, thoughtful attention to detail, and a collaborative approach with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams. She values inclusive, strengths-focused practice, is neurodiversity-aware, and is LGBTQIA+ inclusive—supporting people to build practical skills and meaningful participation in everyday life.
