Karly is a Team Lead in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) at YesAbility and joined the organisation in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Western Australia and completed Masters psychology course in 2025, including the 5+1 pathway making her a registered psychologist.
Karly brings strong experience supporting people with psychosocial disability through recovery-focused, person-centred practice. Her background includes working as a psychosocial recovery coach and support coordinator, where she managed a large caseload and coordinated NDIS funding with multidisciplinary stakeholders such as psychiatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. She has supported people living with a range of mental health presentations, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and OCD, and works collaboratively with participants and their networks to set goals and build practical strategies for everyday life.
Karly also brings crisis support experience through Lifeline and is committed to safe, respectful practice and clear communication across teams.
