Paul
HR Manager
Paul is YesAbility’s HR Manager and brings extensive leadership experience across human services, safeguarding, and workforce development. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Curtin University and has worked in senior operational roles supporting children, young people, and families across foster care, residential care, and community programs.
Across his career, Paul has led multidisciplinary teams with a strong focus on recruitment, supervision, performance development, and building healthy workplace culture. He also brings deep experience in quality and safeguarding, including safety planning and critical incident management — the kind of behind-the-scenes work that helps services run well and people feel supported.
In his HR role, Paul supports YesAbility’s people and culture priorities by strengthening recruitment processes, helping leaders navigate performance and capability development, and keeping systems clear, fair, and practical (because nobody needs a 14-step process to book leave). Paul is known for calm, direct communication, high-quality documentation, and a steady approach when things get busy.
