Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist with a strong professional interest in mental health, forensic services, and complex psychosocial presentations. I bring experience working across forensic and custodial environments, including prison settings, as well as crisis mental health contexts and high-risk presentations.
My practice focuses on supporting individuals with complex and intersecting needs, including severe and persistent mental illness, behavioural challenges, forensic histories, and alcohol and other drug (AOD) use as a co-occurring behaviour or comorbidity. I work from a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented framework and value collaborative, strengths-based approaches that promote autonomy, safety, and meaningful engagement in daily life.
I have experience working within multidisciplinary teams and high-risk environments, completing functional capacity assessments, contributing to risk-informed intervention planning, and delivering practical, person-centred supports. I am particularly motivated to work with individuals who experience overlapping mental health, behavioural, and social challenges, and I am committed to delivering respectful, evidence-based occupational therapy that supports long-term stability, functional improvement, and community participation.
