Rachel is an Occupational Therapist at YesAbility and joined the organisation in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Liverpool and brings experience across acute and community mental health services, including crisis liaison, inpatient settings, and secure/forensic environments.
Rachel has a strong interest in psychosocial disability and supporting people during periods of acute distress, with experience completing mental health and risk assessments, developing practical, person-centred goals, and coordinating referrals and supports across multidisciplinary teams. She is skilled in evidence-informed intervention planning and is known for her calm, structured approach in complex environments.
Alongside clinical work, Rachel has contributed to service development and quality improvement initiatives, helping teams strengthen processes, clarify scope of practice, and improve outcomes for the people they support. She also brings experience facilitating groups focused on mental health and wellbeing, and supporting safe, coordinated discharge planning.
