About the role
Yesability is seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time or part-time role will provide you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalised rehabilitation programmes to help our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ functional abilities, limitations, and needs
- Developing and implementing customised rehabilitation plans to improve clients’ independence in daily living activities
- Providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions to help clients develop new skills or regain lost abilities
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Documenting client progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards
- Participating in continuous learning and professional development to stay up to date with industry best practices
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation / disability setting
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, goal setting, and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs and abilities
- Interest / availability to consider FIFO services to our regional and remote hubs.
